How many treatments will I need?
Most areas require 3-5 treatments applied at 4-6 week intervals to achieve optimal benefits. Long term results depend on multiple factors such as hair thickness, the area treated, and the hairs’ growth cycle.
What happens during the procedure?
Treatments are comfortable and safe. A clear gel will be applied to the skin. Then, the BBL energy is delivered with a cool applicator, so there is minimal or no discomfort. Your treatment provider may choose to glide the applicator on your skin or stamp it depending on the size and location of treated area. During the treatment, some patients experience a warm or stinging sensation in the treatment area. For your safety, your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Personal sensitivity varies from patient to patient. Discuss your sensitivity with your provider before treatment.
How long does a laser hair removal treatment take?
Treatment time will vary depending on the size of the area treated and your hair and skin type. Typically, a smaller area only takes a few minutes, while a large area can take 15 minutes or longer.
